Set a Goal

Remember – failing to prepare is preparing to fail. Without a set goal in place of what you want to achieve, you won’t have an adequate plan for achieving it. If you struggle to reach big goals, dream little first. Set a goal to have eaten well for a week or to do three exercise sessions a week. Once you’ve achieved that, increase your goals for the next month. Slowly but surely, you’ll work your way towards your ideal.

Stock Up on Fruit and Veg

Winter is the most difficult time of the year to eat well. Firstly, there’s all the sweet treats of Halloween, the indulgence of Christmas food and the fact the drop-in temperature and darker days make us turn to comfort food. However, clean eating is one of the biggest keys to succeeding with your fitness journey. Making good food choices will help you reach your goal faster and one of the easiest ways to do this is by upping your intake of fruit and veg which are high in nutrition, but low in calories. Soups and casseroles are packed with goodness and great for this time of year too.
